Subcontractor management with private pay and shared reports
Coordinate site work with the main company while keeping employer records separate. The subcontractor manages its crew and internal pay; the main contractor receives only explicitly shared reports.
How the workflow works
- 1
Invite the responsible account, activate access and assign permitted worksites. A subcontractor can keep its own company and subscription while accepting a connection invitation. Its crew remains in the subcontractor workflow.
- 2
The subcontractor manager clocks the crew, configures pay and adds optional amounts. Workers see their own permitted records. Internal wages and allowances are not automatically visible to the main contractor.
- 3
Download or email own attendance and closed pay reports to the subcontractor’s authorized accountant. Submit a requested attendance copy to the main company, without private wages. Proposed amounts payable by the main contractor stay in a separate workflow.
Availability depends on your plan, active modules and permissions. Company accounting exports require the accounting reports module. Subcontractor access has separate capacity and activation rules.
Practical questions
Does the main contractor receive our salary report?
There is no automatic sharing. Internal pay stays private to authorized subcontractor users. The shared attendance copy contains no private salaries. The sender explicitly selects an authorized email recipient and confirms permission to send the report.
Reports prepare data for an accountant; they do not transfer wages or submit tax returns. Your accountant checks taxes, collective agreements, overtime entitlements and posted-worker rules for the relevant countries.
